Inspired by the Justice for George Floyd movement, Take Action Florida began in 2020 when a few members of University of Florida tried to figure out ways to take action to create social change. Our lobbying organization challenges the status quo, holding our leaders accountable and fighting for solutions that will transform society.

Take Action Florida makes education for many different social issues easily accessible to the public and provides ways to take action for them.
We focus on highlighting the intersectionality, or overlap, of these social issues and how they affect each other as well as work to amplify marginalized voices within our community.
Our vision is just world in which systemic barriers are removed for all and liberation is the default.
